Make another kid's day and let them know you care!

How great to be able to send a message to another kid to let them know you care and are trying to help them!

At SchoolAid we call these 'Messages of Hope'.  All you need to do is draw a picture or write a letter to the children you and your class are helping.  You can let them know what you are doing and that you are sending them your love and thoughts.

Helpful templates can be found on individual project pages in Projects

Click here to see our Victorian Bushfires Message of Hope Book.  Thanks to all the fantastic schools and kids who sent in all those messages and pictures!

Lysterfield Primary School

We are Class 6M from Lysterfield Primary School! There are 26 students in our class. We voted to help support the children of Bangladesh and raise money for better learning camps because we didn't like the idea of children being hurt at school. Our schools are cool and we want everyone to have a great time at school. All children have the same right to an education. We believe all children should have as fantastic an education as we have here in Australia. We are the lucky country.

Over the school holidays we thought about ways to raise money. We had to prepare a business plan for our Principal to approve and held a market day selling lollies, craft items, milkshakes and games. We raised $1495.20 for School Aid at our Market Day to help the children in Bangladesh to have a better education.

Chullora Public School

We are the Student Representative Council at Chullora Public School. We held a Compassion Day to raise funds for children affected by Cyclone Nargis in Burma. We asked students to bring in a gold coin and each class traced the coins around their own map of Burma. We spent the day without lights or heaters, ate only simple food and drank water to experience learning without such comforts and as a mark of respect for the children of Burma.
